Megan Collins

Supervising Social Worker

I’m Megan and I am a registered Social Worker and started my first social work role with Lorimer in September 2023. I have previously tutored English to Primary and Secondary schoolchildren and was a support worker for adults with learning disabilities whilst completing my social work degree. 

I have experience working with trauma experienced children and young people, completing my two placements in a youth charity and with the local authority in adoption support. I enjoy working with caregivers and young people and find it rewarding to support them in moving towards positive outcomes. 

In my spare time, I love to do anything creative, such as painting, sculpting and writing. I also love to travel and explore new places.
