A Song About Coronavirus from a Young Person in Care

Posted on 20th May 2020 by

During the stay-at-home period, our Foster Carers and young people have spent their time getting super creative. We wanted to take a moment to share a song with you that one of our young people has written about Coronavirus! We think it’s fab, and hope you do too :)

A Song About Coronavirus

A Song About Coronavirus

I heard this thing called Corona,
I do not want the things it brings,
I do not care how much you miss your friends.

It goes like this just stay at home,
we all are missed but please don’t go,
just stay inside we’ll be allowed out shortly.

It’s called Corona,
called Corona,
called Corona,
Coronavirus.

I do not want to become ill,
I’m staying home all on my own.
Don’t go out outside unless it’s for essentials,
your daily exercise is key,
or going out to buy some tea,
I don’t care if you want to meet with your friends.

It’s called Corona,
called Corona,
called Corona,
Coronavirus.

Coronavirus is out of hand,
we’re not quite there but we’re helping out,
just do your part to help this pandemic.

Wash your hands,
just keep them clean.
Stop going out,
stop being mean.

Just stay indoors and we will all be out soon.

It’s called Corona,
called Corona,
called Corona,
Coronavirus.
It’s called Corona,
called Corona,
called Corona,
Coronavirus.

Coronavirus
Please stay at home.
