August Competition for Children & Young People
It’s competition time!! We are setting our children and young people a very fun challenge to complete throughout the rest of August; take a look below to find out more & see how to get involved!
For this months competition, we are challenging young people to go and explore the great outdoors; by completing a summer scavenger hunt and using the items they find to create a fun ‘summer themed’ collage.
You can download and print out the below ‘Competition Print Out’ to pass on to children and young people, so that they can read through it themselves to understand the task we are setting them for this competition!

Scavenger Hunt List
The scavenger hunt list includes lots of items that can be found whilst out a walk through a local park; but there are some that you may have to venture a little further for! Don’t worry about ticking everything off (but try your best to!); as long as you are happy with the amount of items you have to create a collage with.

When you are ready, take an A3 or A4 piece of paper to use to create the summery collage. Place down the items you collected to create an image. Once you are happy with it, secure the items with either some glue, blue-tac or sellotape.
How to Enter our August Competition
Entering our August competition is super easy!! Just take a clear photo of the collage from above, making sure to include the full image – then send it through to us via email, to bowen@lorimerfostering.com or by adding it to social media (Facebook or Twitter) and tagging us in to it.
Please send children and young peoples entries to us by the 31st August and they could be in with the chance of winning a fantastic prize; as well as having their work transformed in to a poster which will be display at the Lorimer Fostering office.
