Christmas Card Competition 2022
Every year here at Lorimer Fostering we hold a ‘Design your own Christmas Card’ competition for children and young people to get involved with; and this year was no exception! The Christmas card competition 2022 was open to both looked after foster children and birth children alike and we judged it in two categories; 11 years and younger & 12+ years.
There is one winner for each category and each winner receives Love2Shop vouchers as well as printed cards with their own designs on; to send out to their family and friends. We also use the designs for our own Christmas cards which are sent to our Foster Carers and other friends of Lorimer.
We think the Christmas card competition is a great activity for young people to get involved in; allowing them to spend some quality time with their Foster Carers or birth parents whilst also using their creativity!

WINNING ENTRIES
All of the entries we received this year from young people were fantastic and extremely imaginative! It was a really difficult decision choosing the winners for each age category as we loved them all; but they have now been selected!

RUNNER UP
We’d also like to say an extra special well done to one young person who wrote a wonderful Christmas poem. We loved it so much that we included it on the back of all our cards for this year!
The talented young person who wrote it also received a gift voucher and letter from Lorimer to say ‘bravo’ for their hard work and creativity.
