Foster Care Fortnight is back for 2025! Running from 12th–25th May, this national campaign, led by The Fostering Network, celebrates the incredible impact of fostering and encourages more people to consider becoming foster carers.
At Lorimer Fostering, we see first-hand the difference that foster carers make in the lives of children and young people. This year’s theme, “The Power of Relationships”, highlights not only how fostering transforms the lives of children in care, but also how it enriches the lives of those who foster.
Why Foster Care Fortnight Matters
There are thousands of children across the UK in need of a safe, loving home. Foster Care Fortnight raises awareness of the urgent need for more foster carers while celebrating those who already do an incredible job.
