Christmas is a magical time for families, especially children and as Christmas approaches many children are getting more and more excited about the presents they will get and the attention from family members. However, in the North West there are many young children who will not be looking forward to Christmas, they are in foster care waiting to be placed with a loving and caring foster family.
This Christmas, Lorimer Foster Services have produced a Smooth Radio fostering advert to enlist more professional foster carers. We want to help deliver the message to to encourage more foster carers to sign up with an Independent foster agency and welcome children into their homes. These children will receive hope and care from new foster parents this Christmas but becoming a foster carer means you are also a recipient to the joy children can bring to your home especially at Christmas.
Foster caring is a rewarding career, you get to help turn a child’s life around and give them help, support and care they may not normally receive. Lorimer Foster services work closely with our foster carers to support them and help them enjoy foster caring as a profession.
